ABOUT BERRY'S LANDSCAPING AND LAWN CARE
Honest & Efficient Work
At the ripe of age of 12 years old, I was introduced to lawn cutting by none other than my father. Most children my age dreaded doing this mundane chore, but I found it to be a rather peaceful activity that always cleared my head. I did a good enough job that some of my neighbors began to take notice and would ask me to do their lawns weekly or when they were out of town. I took pleasure in cutting my neighbors lawns, and I would always give it the same care and attention that I would expect as if it was mine. With cutting my neighbor lawns I began to learn what being an entrepreneur was all about and immediately fell in love.

When I turned 16 years old, I purchased a vehicle and I was given a small trailer to put my lawn equipment in. Throughout my high school years I expanded my business and learned new skills to expand the services I could offer to my customers like shrub/tree trimming, mulch/rock installation, snow removal, ect. At the age of 17 I started attending college at Northwood University, one of my close friends ran my lawn business while I was away freshman year. During that year I realized three things; First, I realized I was becoming broke. Second, I realized how much I missed working outside. Third and most importantly, I realized how much I missed running my own business and having the ability to interact with my customers and being able to provide solutions to their everyday needs. That following Spring I started operating my lawn business again while going to school and never looked back.

I recently graduated from Northwood University with honors and what I’ve decided to do is grow and operate Berry’s Mow & Snow. I’ve always stressed the importance of quality work and open communication with my customers as that is what I feel is lacking in this industry. If you have gotten this far, hopefully you will provide me an opportunity to do your landscaping, lawn care, and snow needs!
